Q. Under hypnosis won't a person do anything the hypnotist suggests?
A. An individual will not do anything against his or her principles or moral standards as a result of being in a hypnotic state.

Q. Is it true that a hypnotised person is unconscious or just asleep?
A. During hypnosis, you hear all that is said and you remember much of what is said. In the deepest state of hypnosis, there may be a tendency to forget portions of the hypnotic session but you will remember all that is important to you.

Q. What if I can't come out of hypnosis?
A. A good therapist is well trained to handle any eventuality. However, there are no cases in recorded history in which a person has failed to come out of hypnosis.

Q. Doesn't a post-hypnotic suggestion last forever?
A. A post-hypnotic suggestion may last for a few minutes, several days or a lifetime depending on what you need it to do for you.

Q. Isn't it only weak-minded people that can be hypnotized?.
A. The more intelligent and imaginative the person, often the easier it is to be hypnotized

Q. How many sessions will it take?
A. There is no standard answer to this as treatment varies with each person and the severity. An approximate guideline would be 2 to 4 sessions though this does vary.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. A normal session is £55 and lasts approximately an hour. A Stop Smoking treament costs £140.

Q. How do I know your therapists are properly trained?
A. Please read our 'About Us' section for further details but each therapist is well trained and maintains ties with the training college for updating of skills.
